Devour Everything - FiMtG by Kitonin Devour Everything - FiMtG by Kitonin
Part of the first set of My Little Pony/Magic: The Gathering cards, I decided to make.

This card ended up green just because I wanted it that way. That and I felt Parasprites are just doing what nature intended, albeit they had a little help from Twilight.

I know this is late, but the casting cost should be reduced if parasprites are on the field. I don't know how much, though.

This sounds like an ability found in Archenemy decks. xP

Perhaps make it:
Cost: (B/G)(B/G)BG
"Choose up to three of the following: destroy target land; destroy target creature; destroy target artifact; destroy target enchantment"

Teh horror. TEH HORROR! *faints*

I would've costed it at 2BGG and made the effect "Choose a land, a creature and an artifact target player controls and destroy each of them."
Also, perhaps it's not my place to suggest changes in this area, but for the flavour text, I would've done:

"Parasprites have an insatiable hunger. Then Twilight Sparkle changed their diet."

Wow, rare indeed. A strong one. :)

Should read, "Destroy target land, target creature, and target artifact target player controls." if it actively targets things, or as, "Choose a land, creature, and artifact target player controls and destroy them." if it just targets the player.

Oh, I like it. I'd probably go 1BGG to make the creature destruction fit with the colour. One thing I like is that if there isn't an artifact in play you can't use the card at all, which I think stops it from being abusive. I could see myself first picking this in an infect deck.

Infect is the worst ability in the history of the game, and I'd sooner see the triumphant return of bands with other before ahving to go through anything to do with that miserable excuse for a mechanic ever again.

YOu are, however, correct in saying that it needs some black mana in there somewhere. Alternatively, you could change "creature" to "enchantment".

I *like* infect. Some -1/-1 counters are a nice bonus to preventing yourself from taking damage in return for one of your creatures. Too bad there aren't any 1-mana french vanilla 1/1 chump blockers with Infect...
